TreadSafe® GRP Tactile Tiles

TreadSafe® GRP tactile floor tiles incorporate raised profiles to warn people when they are approaching a change in elevation such as staircases, railway platforms, pedestrian crossings, and cycling lanes.

The 4mm thick tiles are offered with a choice of surface finishes dependent on the application.

The corduroy surface warns visually impaired people of the presence of hazards such as stairs, level crossings or the approach to on-street light rapid transit platforms. The on-street blister design is suitable for use at pedestrian crossing points as it indicates where the footway ends and the carriageway begins. The off-street blister style has flat topped domes set in evenly-spaced rows parallel to the direction of travel along the platform.

The 4mm thick tiles are easy to fit by gluing and screwing to the existing substrate. Tiles measure 400 x 400mm and are offered in buff or red.
