Boston Indoor Bowls Club Juniors

Porcher Abrasives has been the proud sponsor of Boston Indoor Bowls Club Juniors for over 15 years.  The Junior section under the guidance of Rod West, a qualified coach who took over the role in 2007 is both thriving and successful.

Boston has approximately 20 keen and competitive junior members’ ages ranging from 8 – 18 who compete in County individual and team competitions including the Lincolnshire I.B.A. 18 and Under League.

The club was a London 2012 inspired facility so they have received funding  from the National Lottery and Sport England. This has helped the club to establish a successful Juniors team who rank highly in all finals tables within the 18 & Under League.  The club has produced Under 18 and Under 25 County Winners and in the past they have produced two Under 18 England Internationals, along with a Ladies World champion.

The junior bowlers meet on Saturday mornings at Boston Indoor Bowls Club for 2 hours of coaching and fun bowls activities, with many of the juniors also playing in the adult evening bowls leagues.
